How should I mix the protein powder?
Mix a packet with 300–350ml (10–12 fl oz) of cold or room-temperature water. Adjust the amount of water to your preferred taste and consistency.
For a smoother texture, add the water first, then the protein powder, and shake well.
You can also mix it with milk, soy milk, or coffee for a richer flavor.
Why shouldn't I mix protein powder with hot water?
We recommend using cold water or water below 40°C (104°F).
Hot water may cause the protein powder to clump, making it harder to dissolve and affecting the texture.
How is protein powder different from chicken breast, eggs, or other protein-rich foods?
Protein powder isn't meant to replace a balanced diet. It's simply a convenient way to supplement your daily protein intake.
Benefits include:
Easy to carry
Quick to prepare
Easy portion control
A balanced diet with a variety of whole foods should still be the foundation of your daily nutrition.
Can I drink protein powder even if I don't work out?
Yes.
Protein powder is simply a convenient source of protein and isn't just for athletes or people who work out.
If you're not getting enough protein from your daily diet, protein powder can be an easy way to supplement your intake.
How much protein powder should I have each day?
It depends on your body weight, activity level, diet, and individual nutritional needs.
Protein powder is meant to supplement your diet, so more isn't necessarily better.
If you're already getting enough protein from foods like chicken, eggs, fish, dairy, or legumes, you may only need a small amount of additional protein.
For personalized dietary advice, please consult a doctor or registered dietitian.
